Prencipe v. Spokane Board of Realtors (Spokane, WA)
This Open MLS case was filed Aug. 25, 2004, and is scheduled for trial July 10, 2006. The case seeks triple damages of about $5,000 per MLS user on a class action basis against the realtor association, its separately incorporated MLS, and MLS directors. Based on about 1,400 MLS users and an estimated 30% non-join rate, a judgment for plaintiffs would amount to about $2 million.
